All About Us
What the heck is Mosaic? What's the deal with this board? This is kind of like our own FAQ that is a bit less technical than the one the server provides. This is the basic information we think guests would like to know but we aren't that smart so please post any questions you have and we'll try to find an answer or at least make up something creative. |

Prayer: The Mini-Series Volume 1 (Inward Prayer)
The first mini-series on prayer examines Inward Prayer, the transformation of ourselves. While following the work of Richard Foster, we also hope to incorporate more in the area of prayers of scripture, prayers of Christians in church history, and postures of prayer. |

Lifting the Fig Leaf: Reclaiming Passion & Pleasure
We live in a polarized sexual world, one far from the Biblical Eden. A main purpose of the series will be to pursue what Christ came to restore: Eden (pleasure / delight). We say "reclaiming," because it was originally ours, whether by geography, gift, metaphor, or a combination of the three. One way to look at how we cope with this loss is to view life through two lenses: Lense 1: We embrace the falleness of our sexuality, gather fig leaves around us, and attempt to hide from God / others in our shame. Lense 2: We embrace a redemptive sexuality, "lift" our fig leaves, and let ourselves really be known by God and others |

The Revolution Begins Within
Want to change the world? Gandhi described the process like this: "You must be the change you want to see in the world." Our calling to live lives of global, eternal significance begins with having our character transformed at its most basic level. This series invites us to start that process. |

Following Jesus: Q1 2005
When Jesus invited fishermen to follow him, it wasn't so they could "get into heaven." He was inviting them into the epic adventure of self-sacrifice for the benefit of others. Now he's inviting us down the same path. Let's explore it together. |

Spiritual Disciplines
This is an experimental forum meant to foster the practice and knowledge of spiritual disciplines in the community. We know that some have been reading "Celebration of Discipline" by Foster, and one Fight Club has even studied it some. But how are we working these disciplines into our lives? Some of the disciplines he names are prayer, meditation, study, simplicy, celebration and fellowship. What are some ways were are practicing or could practice these disciplines (or others) into our lives? |
