We believe in simplicity but unfortunately we are getting bombarded with false registrations. So, in order to make things work better we have set up the following procedure to protect the privacy of user accounts here and to help make sure your registration doesn't get lost in a slew of advertisements for things that are "various and sundry" to say the very least.

If you would like to join our discussions we would love to have.

Here's how the process works.

1). Go ahead and fill out the registration page that comes up when you click on the registration tab above here. Set up your profile as you would like it to be. You should receive a confirmation email. But, make sure and follow step two as well.

2). Send an email from the account associated with MoDis to Jennifer at mosaicjenne at yahoo dot com and/or Patrick at neo70tx at gmail dot com.

We will then go into the admin area and activate your account for you. Make sure and include the user name you chose so that we can sift your ID out from among the "various and sundry" ones we will receive that day.

Welcome to our discussions we are very glad to have you.

I saw this post in passing and think it is a great idea but as far as your email address go I believe that having your addresses listed like that with a mailto link might get you a lot of spam that you would than need to weed through in your email you might want to post them as graphics or get creative with something like username AT domain DOT com or other creative things like that to avoid the wrath of the spam bots. I just hate seeing nice people get spammed into the next melinna though gmail does a splendid job of keeping the spam out

Thanks for the tip. I have edited accordingly. I had no idea that was why so many times I see addresses written that way.

I never did like spam in cans or in email!
